Nokiaexperts.com is the place, if you want to know the latest and first-hand information about Nokia Devices. This site which is dedicated to Nokia and its fans, is owned by Mathew Miller.
Well he is a well know face in the mobile phone world. His 3 favorite Nokias ,ever, has been published in the official Nokia Blog.
His choice is :
Nokia E71
Nokia N95-3
Nokia N97 mini
I am sure thats a good preference of favorites. All these 3 devices really rock. We can say, these 3 devices are the ones that are mainly supporting Nokia, maintain its high end phones market share. Nokia recently showed how the future Symbian UI will look. We are really expecting to see a break through.
Now in the current market situation, along with performance and features, the UI also plays an equal contribution.
Nokia, today has announced the launch of two touch screen devices in India, Nokia 5530 XpressMusic and Nokia 5230. Both these devices look similar to the already available 5800 XpressMusic. Hosting a full touch screen functionality, these 2 phones are aimed at a day to day use purpose along with more than 30 hours of music playback. The 5530 will be available in 2 colors and the 5230 will be present in many colors ( changeable covers ).
At this point of time, Nokia should have already planned strategies for increasing their market share, as for the past 3 years, Nokia is experiencing a fall in its global market share. And thats the reason why these 2 phones will be available for a very reasonable price tag :
Nokia 5530 – around 13, 500 INR ( 275 USD )
Nokia 5230 – around 10,000 INR ( 205 USD )
Both these phones will be available to purchase in retail stores in early 2010.
In the mean time enjoy the promo video and one review video of Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. ( the second video doesnt have audio )
Sony Ericsson has been in the making of some very normal phones with the same strategy. For a change, they recently, officially unveiled 2 touch screen phones, Satio and Aino. Even though the official release date is not yet decided, “youserbase” reviews these 2 phones in detail. The phones seem pretty quick. Lets see if SE can do some magic this time. Check out http://www.youserbase.org/ for further details.
After the release of the iPhone, almost every manufacturer is learning the hard way, that they have to make a more intuitive touch phone under their belt.
Nokia is no different in this. First they made the 5800 Xpress Music touch phone, then the N97, and now the smaller twin of 5800 called the 5530 XpressMusic. The 5530 is not yet released in the market but someone out there had their hands on with the device, which has some improvements. Check out the video of this 3g-less phone :
We have seen a world full of different mobile phones. Now its more different and better with INQ Social Mobiles.
INQ Mobiles , headquartered in London, is all set to release something called as Social Mobiles. Its a different concept in mobile phones. INQ has named it the INQ Chat 3G & INQ Mini 3G. The primary focus of these phones is social networking.
New line-up includes INQ Chat 3G – INQ’s first qwerty mobile – and the compact and colourful INQ Mini 3G
INQ brings Twitter, free push Gmail and media sync with PC and Macs to mass market social mobiles
Working closely with the Twitter team, INQ has developed an authentic Twitter application for both its new Social Mobiles. After the initial log in, Twitter will be ‘always on’. Consumers can send tweets and retweet via the internet rather than using SMS. With the INQ Chat, a specially designed Twitter widget will deliver Twitter updates straight to the home screen.
The INQ Chat3G was developed in response to consumer and operator demand for a qwerty-style keypad device from INQ. It has a new email client developed by INQ that incorporates free push Gmail – removing a cost for push mail typically borne by operators or passed on to consumers. The INQ Chat 3G comes complete with the expanded suite of INQ applications; Facebook, Skype, email, IM and Twitter.
The INQ Mini 3G is a slimline Social Mobile that offers Twitter, Facebook, IM, Skype and web-based email services like Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and GMail. It brings the usability that INQ is known for to a new form factor. Like the INQ Chat, the INQ Mini offers impressive capability at a fraction of the price of other application-rich devices.
INQ’s first handset, the INQ1 won Phone of the Year at the 2009 GSMA Awards in Barcelona which are known informally as the industry Oscars. The judges highlighted the handset’s affordability, deep integration of social networks and ease of use in their winner’s announcement.
Team INQ Says : “We know mobiles. We’ve worked with them for years but have always been frustrated by them. So we’re doing something about it.”
The INQ Chat 3G and INQ Mini 3G will be available in Q4 2009.
